Scholarship Application
Thank you for your interest! Applications are now being accepted for the 2026 Scholarship Awards!
- The scholarship training and all student interactions with instructors will be online: applicants must have access to the Internet, a computer, the ability to download and view videos, and a way to capture and transmit drawn images (scanner or digital photo capability). Access to basic art materials (pencils, paper) is also required.
- Applicants must view Lesson 1 of Foundation in Drawing & Design - Introduction to Drawing Systems: Two Dimensional Analysis of Bottle Designs, and complete the first homework, to be submitted as part of their application. To download this class at no charge, please enter this code: SCHAPP
- Applicants must be able to dedicate between 4-10 hours a week practicing the drawing skills they will learn from the video classes, and through live one-to-one virtual sessions with Barnstone Master Guides.
- Applicants must be able to connect with their Master Guide via Zoom at least every two weeks.
- Applicants must scan or photograph their drawings, upload and email the images to their assigned Master Guide throughout the six months of the scholarship period.

What Selected Recipient Will Receive
Scholarship recipient will receive free enrollment in the Summer 2026 Barnstone Method Intensive: Foundation in Drawing & Design with Roger Brinker – Live via Zoom, 10-week course (10 total classes) ($1,500 value), the Introduction to Drawing & Design Workbook, and six months of Barnstone Master Guide one-to-one mentoring (a maximum of six hours of instruction across all six months). In addition, recipients will receive a complete Barnstone Success Kit, including:
- the classic plaster Perrier bottle
- hand-crafted red oak calipers
- Introduction to Drawing & Design Workbook
- and other essential tools for mastering Barnstone Method drawing skills
Complete Scholarship package is valued over $2000!
Upon satisfying course requirements, recipients will receive a Certificate of Completion.
This year we will also be awarding an additional 50% off scholarship!
